I Would Die For That

So emotional and powerful. So sad that so many of us can, and have to, relate to this, but it's nice to see someone out there spreading awareness and talking about it. <3

Our journey...

It has been a long 3-year road and though we thought we were finally on the right path...we are back to the starting line, again. This is my fourth loss. I am the mother of four sweet angels and blessed to also have my three living angels, as well, ages 18, 11, and 5. I have lost two babies at 14 weeks, though one had passed at 12 weeks and I was not aware until two weeks later. That was my first miscarriage, so no testing was done. It was just "one of those things." I went on to have Trevor, my 5-year-old, before my string of bad luck began. I lost another pregnancy early on, which is something that often happens, but most people never even knew they were pregnant. Being that we were actively trying. I knew. That one was not very concerning, since 30% (or more) of pregnancies end that way. Last year, I was 9 weeks pregnant and made a wrong move that caused my placenta to start tearing, causing a hemorrhage. We had sonograms daily showing the baby to be kicking and fine, until during my daughter's 10th slumber party...the placenta tore completely and I lost my little girl. I was able to retrieve her and she was tested, showing no abnormalities...the placenta just tore completely and all was lost. This time, I hope there is an answer. I have been tested for every known cause under the sun, and there are no answers. Everything looked good in this pregnancy up until the loss. Seeing as the other three miscarriages were seemingly unrelated, I truly hope that this is not just chalked up to another instance of bad, and very rare (always in the 1% or less bracket), luck...or lack thereof. I do not want to be included in THESE statistics, and I am tired of the run of bad luck.
